When Super Grover loses his superness, Sesame Street needs a hero! Never fear, Elmo and his team of Healthy Heroes are here. Teaching lessons of healthy habits through song and dance, Elmo, Abby Cadabby and your favorite Sesame Street friends will explore exercise, nutrition, sleep/energy and hygiene; all in a quest to put the "super" back in Super Grover. It's Elmo's Healthy Heroes to the rescue at the Nassau Coliseum in September!

Join us in Our Backyard as we discover new ways to explore our natural world. Learn fun ways to help the environment, enjoy a variety of outdoor experiences and try your hand at cooking, crafts and other science activities.
This program is made possible by a generous grant from National Grid in support of LICM's Green Teens initiative. Green Teens is an environmental education program that trains high school students to become outdoor educators as they develop and implement weekly green-themed workshops for young children.

Join the fun at the 2010 series of free Thursday night movies shown at the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theater in Eisenhower Park. Movies begin at dusk and the theater is located near Parking Fields 6 and 6A. Special accommodations are available for disabled patrons, including reserved parking, easily accessible restrooms and a convenient reserved location on the hill. Assistive hearing devices are available for the hearing impaired. Since there is no formal seating at Lakeside, concert-goers are urged to bring folding chairs or blankets.
