If you are looking for ONE fun, safe, all encompassing program for your children each afternoon, don't forget The Captain's Club @Rolling River. At The Captain's Club, between the school bell and dinner, children complete their homework under the guidance of experienced, certified teachers, participate in physical education activities, and learn about important issues regarding their health and wellness. Children are tutored individually and in small groups. Age appropriate lessons are given regarding nutrition, physical fitness and social, emotional and mental health. Their outstanding facilities include three innovative playgrounds, creative playrooms, a computer lab with supervised internet access, Nintendo Wii room, batting cages, fields, courts and more. No other program offers as diverse a selection of activities and gives children professional guidance, support and enrichment in a nurturing environment. The Captain's Club is headed by Heath Levine, a fifteen year veteran and administrator at Rolling River, and an experienced elementary school teacher. He combines his teaching and camping experience to create interactive activities that support academics. Dr. Mark Goodman, Rolling River's owner/director, takes a hands-on approach as creator of the health program and physical education/sports skill instructor. Mark challenges you to "find something more important than your child's health and physical well-being." Your child's participation in this unique program is priceless. Transportation is provided from school to Rolling River. Watch your child's confidence level soar as they become a more successful, healthier and well adjusted individual.
